Robot Gladiator League (RGL) is a combat robotics sports league developed in Kentucky by Newton’s Attic. In Season III, 24 teams throughout the state (including 4 KCTCS teams) have demonstrated advanced STEM learning aligned with the latest Science and Engineering standards in a unique and dynamic spectacle! Robot Gladiators have prepared for success in the workforce as they have showcased their design, engineering, and fabrication abilities.

New Schedule Format For Season III
This year, we’re running the melees on a “rolling schedule” instead of assigning exact start times for each match except for the first one in each Legion.
Here’s what that means for your team:

Vulcan Legion (Competitive): matches begin at 9:00 AM. There will be 5 matches in the Vulcan Legion each melee. Each match will start right after the previous one ends. Matches usually last about 40 minutes (±15 minutes). For example, if you are the 3rd match scheduled, your start time could be as early as 9:50 AM or as late as 10:50 AM.

Titan Legion(Combat): matches begin at 1:00 PM. There will be 7 matches in the Titan Legion each melee. Each match will also run immediately after the previous one. We project the Titan legion matches to last about 30 minutes (±10 minutes). For example, the 4th match scheduled could start as early as 2:00 PM or as late as 3:00 PM
This rolling schedule keeps the day moving smoothly, given the large number of teams we have this year, while also providing flexibility to handle matches that run longer or shorter.
