Summer Camps 2026: Pre-Registration Open

Summer Camp Pre-Registration Information:

 

We’re excited to open pre-registration for Summer Camp!

Because instructor schedules are still being finalized, we are not yet able to release a full, detailed camp schedule. Pre-registration allows families to hold a spot and help us plan class offerings based on interest.

 

Families who pre-register will:

  • Receive the final class schedule earlier
  • Have priority access when class selections officially open.
  • When the final schedule is released, you will login into your Active account to transfer into the class that your student wishes to be in.
  • Flexibility Between Weeks- If you register for a week, but later prefer a class offered in a different week, you will be able to transfer into that class through our Active registration website, as space allows.
  • Pre-registration does not increase the cost of camp. 

 

How Pre-Registration Works:

  • This is pre-registration, not final class placement.
  • Each week, we plan to offer classes for the following grade groups:

Grades 1–3, Grades 3–5, Grades 5–8, Grades 7–10

  • You can choose the morning session, the afternoon session, or both. 

 

When registering, please select:

  • The week you are interested in (The session)
  • The age group and Preference for Morning (8:30 AM – Noon) or Afternoon classes (1:00 PM – 4:30 PM) You can also choose both for all day camp. (Tuition base)
  • A general class area your child would like to take (for example: shop, chemistry, coding, engineering, etc.) (Session Option)

Payment & Credit:

  • Payment is collected at pre-registration.
  • Your payment will be applied toward the total cost of the class once the final schedule is released.
  • Pre-registration does not increase the total price — it simply reserves your place.

 

Cancellations & Refund Policy:

We are unable to offer cash refunds for pre-registration.

If you need to cancel, your payment will be issued as a credit that can be applied to future classes or camps.

Newton’s Attic will offer a variety of STEM day camps weekly June -August 2026.

• PRE-Registration is open for Summer 2026!

•Please know that most classes are offered repeatedly throughout the summer, we can usually accommodate wait-lists (so be sure to register to the wait list if you find a class full), and we often add extra sessions of popular classes as they fill.

• Day camps are offered on a week-by-week basis for grades 1st-3rd, 3rd-5th, 5th-8th, 7th-10th and occasional 9th grade + offerings. Most classes are half-day weeks (morning or afternoon sessions), but you can always register for a full-day week by choosing a morning and afternoon week-long session for your child and sending a sack lunch.

• Half-day weeks start at a price of $265, depending on the program. A full-day, full-week registration would cost double that, depending on the price of the combined classes.

• Our daily schedule runs 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a half-hour grace period on either end of the day for drop off and pick up between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. at no extra charge. Earlier drop off or later pickup can be arranged for a small fee during registration. Morning-only sessions run 8:30 to 12:00, and afternoon sessions run 1:00 to 4:30 p.m.. Again, two half days can be combined for a full day if you send a sack lunch.

• Different class names indicate different projects. Repeating a class with the same name necessitates repeating the same activities.

Offerings include robotics, coding, chemistry, and pre-engineering in the areas of mechanical and electrical systems and aerospace.  We apologize that we will not be able to reserve space or answer your questions about the timing of specific offerings before registration is published.

The grade levels indicated for classes are for students entering and exiting that grade level. In other words, a rising 3rd grader may take a 1st – 3rd or a 3rd – 5th grade class. When possible, we highly recommend registering for the lower grade-level category. Not only does registering “down” provide more options and flexibility for future registrations, but experiments and projects are class-specific and will not be repeated in other classes, so once a student moves out of a grade category, they will miss the opportunity to do those projects.

Payment in-full will need to be made at the time of  registration. Cancellations made more than one week prior to the start date will receive a 100% credit toward future classes. Cancellations made one week to 72 hour prior to the start date will receive a 75% credit toward future classes. Cancellations made within a 72 hour window will receive a 50% credit toward future classes. Credits remain on the account and can be used indefinitely. Exceptions for making a refund versus credit will be considered. Cancellations made after the start of the class will not receive a refund or credit.

  • The 9 columns on the color-coded schedule at-a-glance are the ten weeks of summer (dates at the top)
  • The top half of each week is mornings. The bottom is afternoons. Hours of AM and PM sessions are given in the FAQs
  • The color key: Yellow is for 1st-3rd graders, Green is for 3rd-5th graders, Blue is for 5th-8th graders, Red is for 7th-10th graders, Pink is our girls-only classes.

Once Registration is published in late April, to get the full class descriptions and exact pricing for any given class, click on Register Now below and use the filters on the left side of the page to filter by grade level and/or date range. Note that there are many pages of classes, so it will be overwhelming if you don’t use the filters to narrow down the search to the grade-level and date ranges of interest.
