Effective date: September 11, 2026. This policy covers Newton’s Attic Inc.’s software and applications. It does not cover unrelated third-party sites we link to.

Who we are

Newton’s Attic Inc. is a nonprofit organization based in Lexington, Kentucky, running STEM education programs including Field Trips, Birthday Parties, Scout Events, Summer Camps, School Year Programs, and the Robot Gladiator League (RGL). This policy explains how our software handles information.

Math Blast

Math Blast is a classroom math game. It does not create user accounts and does not collect personal information such as names or email addresses.

RGL Companion

RGL Companion supports Robot Gladiator League events and the associated certification program. Certification-related student information is limited to what’s needed to record a student’s own certifications and progress, and is provided through the student’s program (school, camp, or club) rather than collected directly from the student. Contact us with questions about a specific student’s information.

Children’s privacy

Some of our programs and software (including Math Blast and parts of RGL Companion) are used by children as part of a supervised school, camp, or club program. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through these apps outside of that supervised program context. Consent for a child’s participation in our programs, and for any related recordkeeping, is obtained through the child’s enrolling program (school, camp, parent/guardian registration, etc.), not through the apps themselves. A parent or guardian with questions about their child’s information should contact their enrolling program or contact us directly using the information below.

Information we share

We do not sell personal information. We share information only: (a) with service providers that help us operate (such as financial and accounting service providers, or app-marketplace providers for distribution and, where used, push notifications), (b) with a program partner (school, camp, club) that already has a relationship with the individual, or (c) where required by law.

Data retention and security

We keep information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, or as required by law (for example, nonprofit financial recordkeeping requirements). We take reasonable steps to protect information in our systems, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent change.
